Connor Creek Classic French Onion Soup Mix Recipe:

Combine the contents of this Classic French Onion Soup Mix with 9 cups (2.1 L) of water.  Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat.  Allow simmering to achieve the desired thickness or until vegetables are soft (which is usually about 15 minutes).  For a special treat, place a piece of toast on top of the cooked soup and generously top with grated mozzarella cheese.  Place in a pre-heated oven (at about 400 degrees F) and allow the cheese to melt. Serve immediately.  Add salt & pepper to taste and enjoy!
