Enjoy the hot ‘n spicy tastes of America’s South West with this fabulous mix of herbs, spices and veggies! We’ve made this dip mix moderately hot (so that there’s no need to have the fire department on call), but still warm enough that you’ll definitely “feel the heat”!

You can also use this versatile dip mix in a variety of other ways. To make a really authentic South Western-style bread dipper, combine about a tablespoon of our dip mix with about an ounce each of olive oil and balsamic vinegar (but red or white wine vinegar works just as well). Let it mellow for about 30 minutes and use it instead of butter on your crusty, fresh bread.
 
Our Spicy South Western Dip Mix is tastes great in most stir-fry dishes - just sprinkle some into the wok as you are cooking (to your own personal taste) and you’ll have created a wonderful new taste sensation!
 
You can also try it as an exotic spice rub for fish, pork, beef and poultry. Simply rub our dip mix with your fingers into the meat, and let the wonderful flavors of the herbs and spices be absorbed for about 20 or 30 minutes. (Hint: the longer that you can allow the flavors to absorb into the meat, the more flavorful it will be!)
 
To add a new taste sensation to baked or mashed potatoes, sprinkle some of our dip mix on a dollop of sour cream and butter. You can do the same thing with a toasted or plain bagel and cream cheese – just sprinkle some of our dip mix on top of the cream cheese to make your bagel come alive with excitement!
 
To make a “quick and easy” marinade, combine a tablespoon of our Spicy South Western Dip Mix with an ounce of extra virgin olive oil. Cover your meat and veggies with the oil mixture and let them mellow for as long as possible (i.e. up to a couple of hours) before cooking or grilling. The oil will penetrate into the meat and help to tenderize and flavor it, making it even more enjoyable!
 
For some authentic “Texas-style” burgers, before grilling, combine approximately one teaspoon of our dip mix with every two patties of ground beef that you’re using. Grill your beef as you like it and place the patties on “Texas-Sized hamburger buns. (Hint: You may want to ensure that there are a couple of frosty beers around to help wash those spicy burgers down!)
