pasta culinario Spicy Arrabbiata Pasta Sauce With Zinfandel Wine is a fabulous gourmet pasta sauce that combines two similar tastes.  Knowledgeable wine drinkers will often describe a good bottle of Zinfandel as being full-bodied and "spicy".  Similarly, traditional Arrabbiata pasta sauces have some extra spices and seasonings added to them to give them a little "heat".  We've combined the "spiciness" of an excellent Zinfandel wine with the traditional spicy taste of Arrabbiata sauces to create a sauce that is truly delicious.

Using oak-aged Cabernet Sauvignon wine, we've created a truly superb sauce that enhances the flavour of countless pasta dishes. Alternatively, it can be spread over pizza dough and combined with traditional toppings for a fabulous new taste sensation.

This pasta sauce is the result of two very similar tastes, pinot noir wine and portobello mushrooms, being "married together" to create a truly unique flavor profile...

Often, when wine enthusiasts gather to assess fine wines, they will describe very good quality pinot noir wines as "having a barn-yard nose".  (For those who are unfamiliar with such descriptions, this simply means that the wine has a very "earthy" aroma and bouquet.  To wine enthusiasts, it is a sign that it has excellent varietal characteristics and that it is likely a very, very good wine.)

Portobello mushrooms have a similar, very distinct "earthy" aroma.  They have a unique smell and taste that the French often describe as "le gout de terroir" (or, translated "the taste of the land".)

Thus, it was only appropriate that we "married" the natural taste of pinot noir wine, (with its "barn-yard nose") with portobello mushrooms (with their "taste of the land") to create a pasta sauce that we believe may be unlike anything that you've ever tasted.
